This policy explains what personal information Expert Exteriors collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Who we are
This website is run by Expert Exteriors Landscaping Specialists Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14292432). Our registered office is 80 Derby Drive, Rainford, St Helens, WA11 8EH.
We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, email [email protected] or call 0161 841 5454.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry or ask for a quote
Our contact and quote forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, address or postcode, the work you are interested in, your timescales and budget, and any other details or photos you choose to send. We use this to reply to you, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote.
Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you. If you become a customer, we use the same information to carry out the work and to invoice you, on the basis of our contract with you and our legal obligations for tax and accounting records.
When you call, email or message us on WhatsApp
If you contact us directly, we keep your contact details and the messages you send so that we can reply and keep a record of what was agreed. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp LLC (part of Meta), and messages you send through it are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
When you browse the website
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the website: which pages are visited, how long visits last, what type of device is used and roughly where visitors are located. It also records when someone taps our phone number or WhatsApp button or sends an enquiry, so we can see which pages lead to enquiries. Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact details. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
If you do not accept cookies, Google Analytics does not store any cookies on your device.
Like all websites, our web host keeps server logs that include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the website secure and working, which is in our legitimate interests.

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Essential cookies, which remember your cookie choice, are always used. - our accountant, for customer invoices and records
We may also share information if the law requires us to.
Some of these providers, including Google and WP Engine, may process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the UK government’s adequacy regulations or by contracts approved by the UK Information Commissioner.
